Throughout my education from primary school up to university and beyond, I still regard the Swaminarayan School as the best part in my life.
The teachers, the environment and the Mandir were a unique mix which I feel privileged to have been a part of.

My time at the Swaminarayan School provided me with a strong cultural foundation which I would have missed had I attended another school. I always found the environment extremely conducive to learning as students were encouraged to do more than the minimum.
I can honestly say that the teaching staff took a strong interest in my academic career and were always available to help even outside of class time. I sincerely thank the teachers for nurturing my interest in learning and going the extra mile to support my interests and help shape my early career.

Small class numbers, especially at AS & A2 level ensured all students got the attention they needed – it was great! You felt as a student as if you really mattered. Having the Mandir in close proximity was also wonderful. I would start my day without fail with Maharaj & Swami’s blessings making my school day that much more enjoyable, remembering that God was always with me.
I loved public speaking. Everyone was given a chance to express their views to all fellow members of the school. Ensuring rules were in place for good behaviour and that all acts of bullying were taken seriously, allowed students to get on with studying instead of other worries.
Overall, I feel that going to The Swaminarayan School for seven years has really enhanced my knowledge and allowed me to be where I am today.
Thank you all! (including dinner ladies for the yummy food!!)

I feel that the combination of academic and cultural education, encouragement from teachers and exposure to the Mandir has helped me progress through university and work.

The Swaminarayan School led me on my journey towards adulthood. The teachers provided me with academic development whilst the Mandir gave me opportunities to develop as a person. Each teacher possessed qualities and attributes which I personally strive to instil in my own life as a student, a son, a brother, a friend and finally as an adult.
